In the southeastern range of the Troodos Mountain are fourteen “Commandaria” producing villages. Due to the ideal subsoil of their vineyards, native Cypriot varieties of Mavro and Xinisteri, sun-dried in the vast Cypriot sunlight, create the famous Commandaria of “Oenou Yi – Ktima Vassiliades”.

This emblematic dessert wine is strictly produced in the traditional manner. It has a unique and envious ageing bouquet reminiscent of dried fruit, honey and spices. It therefore justifies not only its legendary path, but also the label of the oldest PDO in the world.

Enjoy matured awarded Commandaria of “Oenou Yi – Ktima Vassiliades” cooled, as a dessert wine, or as a side to a chocolate dessert.
